Fast Clean Purge EXTRUSION TEST

65mm Extruder   /     Material: Resin PP carrier color concentrate

1. Extruding all remaining material from extruder cylinder

7 lbs. of Fast Clean^TM introduced into extruder while extruder is running at 40 rpm / 390^OF

2. As the Fast Clean^TM travels through the cylinder, it removes remaining material and burnt residue from cylinder wall and screw. As it exits through the die head, Fast Clean^TM begins to show a "wavey" appearance.

3. As the remaining Fast Clean^TM amount within the cylinder lessens, the strands will become thinner and clearer. At this point, the cylinder is clean and what color you see is from the die head and is not a result of any old material left in the cylinder.

4. Removal of the die will allow for any Fast Clean^TM to be removed from the area directly behind the die head. Fast CleanTM will also facilitate cleaning of the die head as well.
